Shops, cafés & local businesses

Small-business systems have to earn their keep twice: covering tills, stock and doorways without turning a friendly shop into a fortress. Cameras go in discreetly, alarm panels are labelled and explained, and the owner leaves with the app on their phone.

Before & after — the comms corner

The bit nobody photographs — except us. A shop's network and CCTV kit had grown into a bird's nest above the doorway. One visit later: a wall-mounted data cabinet, patch panel, labelled switch and the recorder racked where it can breathe. Tidy isn't cosmetic; tidy is what makes a system serviceable for the next ten years.

Commercial premises

Garages, retail units and business premises — external deterrence backed by evidence-quality recording inside. The MOT garage below got a monitored alarm with a branded sounder facing the road; the retail unit got full-height coverage of its shopfront and a recorder set up for weeks of retention.

Farms & rural sites

Spread-out buildings, no street lighting and kit worth stealing — rural systems are designed around distance. Bullet cameras on the timber, PTZ domes paired with long-range Redwall detection, and door intercoms so you can answer the yard gate from the kitchen. More on the approach on our farm & rural security page.

Industrial & high-risk sites

Scrapyards, plant, rail-side compounds — sites where cameras work hard and get tested. PTZ domes on proper brackets with armoured flex, vandal cages where hands can reach, and maintenance visits that keep optics clean and IR arrays working. This is where twenty years of habits come from.
